Allington Manor (*****), near Grantham

Stunning Allington Manor is an unforgettable bed and breakfast in Allington, near Grantham in Lincolnshire. The 15th century Jacobean manor house is Grade II listed and has been sensitively restored with three rooms available for relaxing, romantic stays.

Each of the three rooms (the Lord’s Room, the Lady’s Room and the Garden Room) has been beautifully decorated with many period features retained. Each room has a different character but look out for touches like freestanding bath tubs and gorgeous antique furniture.

Longdales House is a stylish bed and breakfast situated on the edge of the Bishop Grosseteste University campus in Lincoln. The Victorian property is reputed to have been once been the home of the head of the college but now has been turned in to a tasteful and charming place to stay with single, twin and double rooms available.
