Belfast Telegraph building goes on sale, touted as boutique hotel
THE FAMOUS building in Belfast that’s been the home of the Belfast Telegraph newspaper for 130 years has been listed for sale today (Tuesday).
Agent Lisney have advertised the iconic building for sale with two development options, both of which would see it turned into a boutique hotel.
Under the published options, the part-Grade B2 listed property would retain its landmark clock and frontage and be turned in to either a 45 or 69 room boutique hotel.
Other options to compliment the suggested boutique hotel include office space, student accommodation, a coffee shop and a restaurant.
Offers in excess of £6million are being sought for the building, located in Royal Avenue close to Ulster University. It was announced in August that the Belfast Telegraph would be selling the four storey building.
