The Scarlet scoops boutique prize in Coast awards

An eco hotel on the Cornish coast has been named Best Boutique Hotel by the Sea.

The Scarlet in Mawgan Porth won the accolade in the recent annual awards from Coast Magazine.

The cliff-top hotel, which overlooks the stunning Mawgan Porth beach, opened in 2009 and has sustainability at the heart of its design.

Rooms at the “grown ups only” hotel, which has 37 rooms and suites, start at £180 per night.
