Cornish boutique hotel overlooking the River Fowey up for sale

A BOUTIQUE hotel in Cornwall overlooking the River Fowey has been put up for sale.

The Cormorant Hotel in Fowey is a 14 en-suite bedroom hotel with an elevated position offering views across the river and the mouth of Penpoll Creek.

The hotel also has an award-winning restaurant and lounge, as well as a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sun deck in a separate building.

Savills has brought The Cormorant Hotel to market on behalf of a private client at a guide price of £1.5 million.

Martin Rogers, head of UK hotel transactions, comments: “The Cormorant Hotel’s location is exceptional, with the property geared towards making the most of the views across the estuary. The current owner has run the business very successfully for the last nine years and now wishes to retire. The property has great potential for development in the future.”
