A new boutique hotel in Shrewsbury has been given the green light according to local newspaper, the Shropshire Star.

The seven-bedroom hotel will be developed at the site of a former dairy in the Frankwell.

The Shropshire Dairies site in Vanguard Way will now be turned into the Silverton – not the Silver top, mind – hotel.

The new hotel is expected to create up to 20 jobs.
